Apply the internal factors that cause overeating to the food industry’s customers/consumers.
Apply the internal changes that can be made to the food industry’s customers/consumers so that they can obtain control over their eating habits.
Apply the external factors of the obesity epidemic to the food industry’s cusomters/consumers, as well as apply the external changes that can be made to the food industry per se, and ultimately reduce the obesity epidemic.
Articulate ethical principles in the context of a specific social problem and describe how they can help formulate social policy or research
Apply scientific processes and knowledge of the natural world to make evidence-based decisions (General Education Outcome 2.1).

Based on all of the readings, videos, and your own entries in the food journal throughout this entire course, select 3 of the following 5 questions to answer, which are based on the course goals listed above:

1 Define and explain the concepts “personal problem” and “social problem.”  Explain how the social problems framework can be applied to the obesity epidemic.  In other words, explain the obesity epidemic using the social problems framework.

2 Identify, describe, and explain all of the changes that we, as individuals, can make internally to take control of our eating, overeating, and related issues.

3 Identify and explain all of the external changes that could be made to the food industry to help reduce the obesity epidemic.

4 With regard to obesity, identify and explain the social arrangements interpreted as unjust and articulate the implications for social policy and action.

5 Identify and articulate the ethical principles in the context of a specific social problem (in this case, the obesity epidemic), and describe how they can help formulate social policy or research.

cumulative assignment

The following fiveresearch questions can be answered using one of the eighttests you have learned this term, including: independent-samples t-test, paired-samplest-test, one-way ANOVA, two-factor ANOVA for independent measures, Pearson correlation coefficient, linear regression, the chi-square test for goodness of fit, and the chi-square test for independence. Note that this means that three tests will not be used. Use the information in the tables to construct your SPSS data file, just as you have been doing in each homework assignment. There is only 1 correct choice of analysis for each question. Remember to account for whether the test is 1-tailed or 2-tailed.The assessment is open-book/open-notes.

Your answer must include: A)SPSS output, and B)Results section in current APA style with the appropriate graph included as an APA-style figure.

For ANOVA problems (if applicable):Report statistical findings and make statements for all main effects and interaction effects. Use Tukey’s test for any analyses requiring post hoc tests.

Early childhood educational models

Early childhood educational models

Details: Educational leaders need to be knowledgeable about different early childhood educational models and understand the benefits and challenges of each approach to learning. For this assignment, imagine that you are the director of an early childhood education center, and you have decided to open a new location. Select a geographical area or district you would like to serve, and research the demographics of the surrounding community. Create a 10-15 slide digital presentation for prospective teachers who may consider working at your new center. Specifically, discuss the following different school models: • Project Approach • Head Start • High Scope • Montessori • Reggio Emilia • Waldorf In your discussion, explain the theoretical foundation of each model, and how each model supports the development of the whole child. Of the models listed, choose one model you would use within your early childhood education center. In your presentation, explain why you selected the model, how the model aligns with child-centered beliefs, and why it is a good choice for the demographics of the community you selected. Include a title slide, references slide, and speaker’s notes in your digital presentation. Support your findings with 3-5 scholarly references. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

DIVERSITY AND GROUP DYNAMICS ANALYSIS PAPER (Twelve Angry Men)

DIVERSITY AND GROUP DYNAMICS ANALYSIS PAPER (Twelve Angry Men)

Research Proposal Components

Your research proposal will consist of six components (introduction, literature review, research question, methodology, data analysis, and bibliography). While the final proposal will present the six components in the order presented in the outline below, the actual process of writing a proposal often does not follow this exact sequence. Notice that component C—the research question—comes after component B—the literature review. The process of scientific research does not always follow this sequence; many times a research question leads to seeking literature to discover what research exists concerning an issue. Therefore, you will complete the six components of the research proposal in a different order than it appears in the outline below, by completing three distinct assignments. This may seem confusing now, but you will soon see that it makes sense to do it this way. In the professional world, when a research proposal is finalized and submitted for funding consideration (for example, to the National Science Foundation or other granting institution) it usually follows the structure of the outline below, regardless of the steps it took from inception of the idea to completion of the proposal.

The Oracle Vs. Microsoft Corporate Espionage Scandal

These are just a few articles you can examine to begin your research. There are many more sources which highlight techniques and tactics, in addition to court filings and books. The above is simply a starting point for the paper.

The following questions should guide you while writing the paper:

What techniques were used by either or both sides to gain a competitive advantage?

Did either or both corporations violate federal laws?

How did one or both corporations respond to the charges?

How can we apply lessons learned to current corporations who are working tirelessly to protect their corporate secrets?

How does corporate espionage differ from cyber espionage?

The above questions are simply a guide for you to consider.  As they are deliberately broad in scope, you should have enough flexibility to focus your paper on specific topics such that are of most interest to you. If you are unsure how to specifically focus your paper feel free to contact me to discuss.

You may earn up to a maximum of 33 points for the case study, which will comprise 33% of your final overall grade for this course.

Following are guidelines, expectations and requirements for completing the case study:

r paper must reflect your original work, and may not be completed or submitted as a team project.

You must include proper source citations within the text and a list of references or bibliography at the end of the paper.  Wikipedia is not considered a valid source for academic papers.  Plagiarism will not be tolerated.

Explain the international balance of payments (BOP) and the reason for its use

Explain the international balance of payments (BOP) and the reason for its use.

Examine how surpluses and deficits in the balance of payments (BOP) affect exchange rates.

Explain the balance of payment (BOP) summary accounts and the process through which surpluses and deficits are tracked through their use.

Provide an example by creating a balance of payment summary account sample, including a surplus or deficit.

Write a 2–3-page paper in Word format. Utilize at least three scholarly sources in your research. Make sure you write in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources; display accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Use the APA format.

Legal And Ethical Business Environment

Legal And Ethical Business Environment

When a reporter makes a mistake in a magazine article by misidentifying a fact, the magazine can run a correction. However, if a health care worker makes a mistake by misidentifying a patient’s symptoms or by giving an incorrect dosage, someone can get hurt or even die. Accountability and responsibility can be very different across different professions. Have you stopped to consider if this is fair? Should we hold people in certain professions to higher standards of legal accountability and responsibility? Choose a position, and discuss your answer:

FOR argument: Yes, we should hold people in certain professions to higher standards of legal accountability and responsibility. Why do you believe so? What professions do you believe should be held to a higher accountability standard, and why?

AGAINST argument: No, we should not hold people in certain professions to higher standards of legal accountability and responsibility. Why do you believe not? Is there any situation in which you would be inclined to change your argument?

No textbook or direct quotes

There need to be a Thesis

Rubric Requirements must be met

The Institute of Medicine set a goal that 90% of health care decisions should be evidence-based by 2020. At best guess, less than 10% of decisions use best evidence. Bridging the gap between research, findings, and practice implementation is one strategy to meet this important goal. This assignment will help you to find gaps that may be used for your project.
